Join me in Clearwater, Florida on January 13 for a 3-hour workshop focusing on various handstand and arm balancing techniques. This class is open level so anyone is welcome to attend regardless of ability level.

Because it is an open class, the content is fluid and ultimately will be decided by the level and desires of the group.

Potential topics to cover:

-Physical preparation; how to take care of the wrists and shoulders for hand balancing.
-Lower body flexibility in regards to hand balancing.
-Low-to-the ground arm balances.
-Approaching hand balancing as a beginner, how to use the wall to build strength and confidence.
-How to bail safely: getting over the fear of inversion.
-Building consistency in the entry to handstand.
-Learning how to balance to take the handstand in the middle of the room.

Intermediate/advanced topics:
-Dynamic handstand: movement during a static balance.
-Common variations in handstand positioning.
-How to save the balance to avoid falling.
-Press handstand development
-Handstand pushups
-One arm balance

In addition I will be around to answer any question people might have about hand balancing, training, etc.
Ultimately the content of the workshop will be determined by the ability and desires of those in attendance.
